Reading Response

Hans Richter article stated that Griffith had the first close up, which I found to be interesting. Also, interesting is when Richter states, 'documentary approach the film gets back to its fundamentals' I like to think of film in that manner, that documentary is the fundamental and a film maker can go off to any angle. The mention of Avant Garde and Experimental is in the article, however, I still don't fully understand the difference between Avant Garde and experimental.

Scott MacDonald's article, Muybridge is always interesting to read about, but I am not sure I agree when the article stated, "Muybridge deepest concerns seem to have been scientific" I agree to a certain extent with that statement, but not sure if totally buy that it was his deepest concern.

Bio

I am very interested in taking photographs, that started my love for film. I enjoy all kinds of film, the more I learn about films the more I am able to open my horizons to different films I would never have the chance to normally know about. My three favorite things are taking photographs, editing, and screen writing. I have had some success already with a script and hope to continue and add to my success through out my career.
